BRUCKNER SYMPHONY NO 4 "ROMANTIC" - DAVID AFKHAM

Two composers active in the same city, Vienna, but 100 years apart. So different but still part of the same tradition. In this programme, Mozart's first flute concerto - a shimmering rococo gem played by the Symphony's solo flautist, Anders Jonhäll - is set against Bruckner's most-played and well-known symphony, the "Romantic", under the direction of David Afkham.
